Greetings,
seems like there is no rather new topic around so i will try my luck ..
Have been running around with that walking wall for some time now but am still not really satisfied with my loadout. So far i tried:

- 8x LBX2 / seems like a solid copy of the DW-UV but lacks alpha-dmg
- 2x LBX20 + 2x RAC2 / had just 2 matches with it but found it not worth using
- 4x RAC2 + 4x LBX2 / has a pretty high dmg-potential but also heats up damn fast and is only good for short fights
- 3x RAC2 + 3x LBX2 + 2 MGs of your choice / seemed like a decent all around build with enough dmg-potential, range and a bit of alpha-dmg but needs face-time vs. enemies and aint good vs. peeking
- 4x RAC2 + 2x LBX2 + 2 MGs of your choice / a small change to the above loadout but at least for me it wasnt much of a gamechanger; maybe slightly worse dmg with more heat
- 4x LBX10 + 4x MGs of your choice / my current loadout which seems very good but teammates tend to get in for the last hit after i have taken all the beating ... so ..

is there anything that would be considered as the current meta build without making the mech useless on long range maps like polar? Most Juggernauts i see are still using 2x H-Gauss and MG-Boating ...

Although these probably aren't meta, and I don't own the Juggernaut, These are some ways I would build it that you could try:

1. fnr-jlgd
6x LBX-5
Jack of all trades, master of none.

2. fnr-jlgd
2x RAC-5 4x AC2
Mid/Long range hybrid, a bit toasty. (~8 seconds 'till overheat w/no skills)

3. fnr-jlgd
5x AC5 3x LMG
Mini PPFLD w/LMGs.

4. fnr-jlgd
2x Gauss 6x HMG + MASC
Long range poke + Short range backup, Runs cold, Speedy.
- Takes advantage of most quirks

5. fnr-jlgd
4x RAC2 4x LMG + MASC
Mid/Long range DPS, Speedy, Can get a bit toasty. (~11 seconds 'till overheat w/no skills)
- Takes advantage of all quirks

Bonus: fnr-jlgd
8x AC2
GrimMechs

Here are some Jug favorites I didn't see listed yet :

(5x AC5, 3LMGs, MASC and tons of ammo)

fnr-jlgd

AD?22:c1|Qgp<1|k?|k?q<1|k?|4I|T@r41|k?|FO|FO|[<2|T@|CPs41|k?|FO|FO|[<2|T@|CPt\0|FO|FOu\0|FO|FOv90w908080

These days I prefer the 8x AC2 FNR-J to this, but the MASC gives you the 28% boost to leg turning speed, and you do have a higher max DPS. Solid Turret Defense Jug for the right time and place.

(8x LAC5, CASEd w/ TC Mk I)
fnr-jlgd

AD?82:g1|[g|i^|i^|i^p?1|e@|e@|KP|KP|[<2q?1|e@|e@|KP|KP|[<2|o<2r41|e@|e@s41|e@|e@t51|KP|KPu51|KP|KPv:0w505050

Yet more DPS, enough ammo to deal 1600+ dmg - LACs are scarier than ACs when you're basically an IS DWF-Ultraviolet. 335 engine, runs cool.

Literally a Really Fun Time using the +1 R/AC2 HSL and a LFE 295 with one DHS and 4,800 rounds - The silly but nichey-good:(6x R/AC 2) Cheese grater FNR-J.

fnr-jlgd

3 + 3 for R and L wep groups and of course, gotta have a Group 3 for all SIX R/AC 2's - only 12 Heat per second with an HSL ceiling of 50.5, you get about 5-6 seconds of dealing nonstop, devastating 40+ dmg/sec until you have to back down. Try in Testing Grounds perhaps, before writing this off as a "No thanks" FNR-J build.

(2x Gauss Rifle, 2x R/AC2 - 84 Gauss slugs + 2,400 R/AC2 ammo, LFE 295)

fnr-j

This can be a nice break from dual GR's and MedLas or MGs on FNR-5s, 5Bs et al. As you move a bit closer with the Gauss, it's quite nice to:
1. Have a high-Crit pairing with the PPFLD besides LB10Xs.
2. It's very useful when calling plays, esp. in dead lobbies. That's enough RAC ammo to burst some at priority targets and call out a simple "follow my tracers".
3. Unlike LBX or Lasers, if something rushes you, there's always the cockpit RAC-rock while still nailing Gauss salvos.

Lastly, my newest favorite. This is TTB's (or at least where I saw it first) with no shield arms and severely shaved legs, but 50 pinpoint dmg and the ~-1 second charge-up + ~2.5 sec cooldown makes this a really, really satisfying Back/Mid/Frontliner.
(2x Silver Bullet Gauss + 2x Light Gauss, LFE 250 <40.5 kph>, ~80 ammo for each pair.)

fnr-j

Quad gauss that really devastates, LGauss Rifles always had a super-fast cooldown/chargeup and with SB Gauss out, this thing is quite enjoyable. Personal Note - I like to use the dual LGRs to thread terrain or hit a component, and the SB more for closer range or when inevitably your target turns and runs. Great for lategame pushes as SB Gauss splits into 3 sabot slugs at around ~550.

I am an FNR lover and have builds for most Fafnirs that surprise. Message me if you'd like some interesting builds.

May your aim be true and your foes crumple under the high dps from these builds. Enjoy!
