Why are stealth mechs immune to any kind of targeting/lock counter?

Are you close enough to be in the ECM bubble as well?
If you're inside the radius of the ECM, TAG or not, your missiles are simply jammed.
If you're outside of the ECM, then TAG can cut through the ECM and your missiles, not simply jammed by the ECM, can then lock.
BAP will cancel out ECM, but cannot cancel stealth armor. Therefore if the ECM mech has stealth, it and its nearby buddies cannot be cancelled. Lovely, ain't it?

Oh and as an aside since the ecm bubble radius is getting nerfed in a coming patch thats a direct buff to backstabbers with extreme short range weapons since the jamming effect will start at 90m instead of 120m.

Another temporary ECM nerf to sell LRM 'Mech, that will be reverted after that? Ok. But it would be good, it radar derp would also be nerfed. For now it just can't be countered. Lock can't be instant. It takes time even with all bonuses. And instant loss of lock due to any tiny obstacle - lock on weapons are completely neutered. It's too OP and should be nerfed by at least 10%.

Though hitting fast moving targets with missiles is hard. They tend to dance through the rain.
