ever since the uptade i went from having around 25 fps dips to about 5 fps dips in faction games during combat specifically idk what is going on but this is actually unplayable

You'll have to post some specs - maybe tuning your config.sys will help you?

MS-DOS 6.2 called, it needs its config.sys back we're using user.cfg nowadays

Last Patch definitely resulted in some problems. But first make sure to run repair tool / delete shaders and make sure U don't run full screen. Did u modify user.cfg?
