In real time or once a day? I really suspect, that once a day. Because if it would be updated in real time - I wouldn't be able to get so deep into Tier 3 only to have endless stomp-streak next day. I would be pushed back to Tier 4 immediately.

If you expect to be the smartest player among 23 others - you're wrong. Sometimes I really feel like I'm expected to carry whole team of completely useless players against enemy team, that at least has some brain. Result is predictable.

I hit tier 3 and now I'm back at tier 4. MM was like there you go now carry the team. I had to swap into using things like HAGs because the team was typically crap. Pretty easy to hit the damage marks to continue climbing but I got bored of HAGs and playing peek-a-boo like I'm some sort of pre-schooler.

Most of the games with braindead teams I still get arrow up. Your personal performance matters even in a 12-0 stomp.

You don't have to be the best of 24 players. It's often enough if you're better than lowest 12 (with some exeptions with ties and losing). And if your team sucks it's easy to be better than them at least

It IS updated real time. Most of the time everyone is matched to their tier +-2 levels with a bias towards lower tiers as that's where the majority of the player base are. There are times where the gates are opened beyond this, but it's not the usual

most games where i break 1k damage are losses. sometimes i feel like the mm selects me to carry. that is not a good idea.

Unfortunately I'm not successful enough in 1 vs 5 fights. I still need at least little support from my team. Yeah. The best matches - are matches, where enemies are extremely passive, instead of being death-ball-style. But unfortunately it's usually my team, that is super-passive, like if I would be expected to carry it.

No one is requiring you to carry anything. Deal enough damage = arrow up. Team sucks or is passive, doesnt matter. If you're good enough you'll get an up arrow most of the time. if you're not dont worry about it. Match quality doesnt get better in high tiers but the enemies do.

theres not a big enough player base for 1 T level to make that much difference

If you keep dropping back to tier 4 and have long losing streaks... perhaps some self relfection rather than blaming the team for your consistent performance?
