Can someone explain to me how the Tier system works, because what I am experiencing is totally different then what I read on the forum. I have attach a screen shot a the latest one. Sometime I have a defeat and I do like 200 dmg, no kill and I get an arrow up, on this one I get a defeat, 400 dmg, 4 kills and I get an arrow down. It's just not consistent. Even I got an arrow down on a win with 500 dmg, no kill... I just don't understand.

Can someone explain?

In simpler terms its not only performance driven its also team performance driven. That 200 damage game you got a green arrow on was because you scored higher than the majority of the other match players. So even if you put in a really good performance if the bulk of the other players did even better you can still get a red arrow.

I agree with Meep Meep. I have done well, personally, and have gone down is PSR and done poorly and gone up. In the first example, me doing well and going down, there were other players that did very well (1000+ damage and multiple kills), so they skewed the curve of scoring. My next example of me doing poorly but going up is because most of the other people did worse than I did, so it appears that I did well.

I will tell you like I tell all the others that have asked your question LuckJaw, forget about the Pilot Skill Rating. You will go up and down, but you will end up where you belong.
