Yup, peeking over hills is all about hardpoint height. That's why the Stone Rhino and Blood Asp are so well loved. And why raising the hardpoint locations on the Black Knight was so cool a minor tweak.

True, I misspoke a little. I guess in retrospect he could also be side-peeking nominally correctly but extending too far/not pulling back fast enough. I was assuming that the "I step out of cover and get melted" thing was from trying to peek vertically but... yeah.

(Same with both speed tweak and a few nodes of braking.)
