EVENT QUEUE/REQUEST QUEUE

WHAT: We've kicked off the event with a simple drop deck domination mode on Vitric Station. What's next at 10pm PST / 6am UTC? Well that's up to you! We'll be monitoring this thread and your requests, and any that will work and are likely to be enjoyed by the majority of players, will be added to the schedule.

Nice! First! And I'd like a heavy que on bearclaw with the 50% armor and ammo increase 8v8 drop deck included. Also a large fry and small soda.

More small matches (maybe even 4v4s) are always welcome. Drop decks are fun, and wacky modifiers too. Maybe lights with reduced armor and increased speed. I'd also like to see an opportunity for groups larger than 4 (I could just wait for faction play incentives I suppose).

Wondering if it would be possible to bring back Incursion but with drop decks in Event Queue. Maybe greatly increase the CBill incentive to actually do the objectives and give the base installations way more HP.

I miss you, Incursion :(

Maybe a "realism" mode. Where damage is greatly increased. (Or I guess armor reduction would work).

Greatly increased speed but assaults only. 140kph atlases etc.

Marauders vs Timberwolves.

Medieval warfare: Something like Trebuchets and Catapults only (incentivising lrms only, maybe on the test maps to be fun).

I would love to see some of these wacky ideas (some of these might throw the game balancing out the window, but it's only for one event):

- Heavily reduced weapon cooldown (100% or maybe even more, please give me 1000%) and increased armor to compensate. And yes, messing with the heat efficiency values is optional for extra chaos...
- Light Mechs only, but their speed is reduced by half and their armor is increased.
- Full Assault Mech Drop Deck with increased speed and armor.
- Maximum heat efficiency, as in no weapon effectively generates heat anymore.
- Conquest with a ridiculous speed increase so that Mechs can reach the cap points within seconds, making it infeasible to shoot them while moving and hopefully prioritizing the cap points (where you have to stand still as per necessity, of course). Could be worth looking into adding capture accelerator to every Mech or reducing overall cap time for this, but increasing the overall point limit/win condition as well.
- Domination, but with multiple circles.
- All weapon spread is increased by a lot, but affected weapons have less cooldown/heat/etc.
- Increase weapon velocity by a lot, resulting in projectile weapons without travel time and acting like lasers.
- All Mechs have no armor.
- All Mechs have no front armor, but only rear armor.
- Jump Jets propel a Mech forward at a 45 degree angle rather than almost straight upward.
- Increase the targeting time to infeasible levels, aka "no targeting data mode" (sorry LRM, ATM, and Streak enjoyers out there).
- Stock loadouts only.
- If possible, all Mechs have a built-in Seismic Sensor range that covers the entire map.
- If possible, all Mechs have external heat transfer and the map is randomly picked between really cold and really hot maps.
- If possible, maybe remove any HSL for one event? I would be interested to see how that would play out.
- If possible, bring back Escort for just one event, but increase the VIP Atlas armor.

Please allow groups for all of these whenever possible!

Thanks for setting up Event Queue. Here are my suggestions –

1. 8v8 groups 1-2, drop deck, 285 tons, Rubellite Domination
2. 8v8 groups 1-2, drop deck, 285 tons, HPG Manifold, Conquest (medium map for Conquest)
3. 8v8 groups 1-2, drop deck 285 tons, Mining Collective, Conquest (smaller map for Conquest)
4. (Limited to 1 session) 8v8 groups up to 8 (simulate old group queue), drop deck 285 tons, Canyon Network, Domination
5. 10v10 groups 1-3, drop deck, 285 tons, Viridian Bog, Conquest (medium map for Conquest)

All Conquest configs should be 20 minutes to actually allow for full time to kill mechs as opposed to running out on counter.

I am an awful light pilot but love their speed, so...

8v8 lights only (drop deck of 4) on some of the test maps (no JJ).

Or Urbie Derby with a DDeck of Urbies\Urbie IICs on Ceres Scrapyard...

+1 to the re-introduce of Incursion! I liked that mode...

I'd like to see more Conquest matches, limit tonnage to encourage lights and throw in a ++ damage modifier. Dust off those light mechs gathering cobwebs since the Assault sniper meta has settled in Posted Image. Rubellite and the desert for sure, maybe the good old Polar maps for the long sprints between caps!

Please do an urbie derby on Friday night, I have missed every single one and have always wanted to try it. You keep doing them on days when I can't play or when I am sleeping and I keep hoping for one in a Friday night.
