[Raffen Volt]

Anyone have other types of music they listen to while playing MWO?

When I'm not going all metal on drop night with old stuff like AC/DC or new stuff like Alterbridge and Bad Wolves, I'm putting on the classic... Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries Soundtrack. After all these years it still holds up. Gotterdamerung is the best track, IMO.

sometimes judas priest. painkiller is a good one for meching, lots of war ditties (with homoerrotic subtext).



so is firepower due to the obligatory mech porn on the cover, other than being a great album.

Motörhead for QP. Fits well to the dumb chaos of that mode.
For FP or EQ, well, Nightwish.

I'm also a big fan of the HBS Battletech OST. The music, the story... "The Argo" still gives me chills, thinking about the liftoff of that Lostech ship.

@LordNothing: Judas Priest is my favorite band. I agree, Painkiller is one of their heaviest albums and it's great to blast Mechs to. Listening to heavy metal while playing MWO is a perfect match of music and activity.

@ScrapIron Prime: The Argo scene is one of my all time favorite cutscenes in games. It's up there with the reveal of the SR2 Normandy in Mass Effect 2, my favorite video game of all time.
