Just wondering, I have been noticing lately that either people have a crazy good aim or there something like aimbots now. I would not believe that when I am running my mech at 140-150kph doing turns and twist jumpjets etc. That someones aim is so good that it picks off my one arm with no damage to any other component then my other arm and keeps going on like that component for component.

Had the same thing with dropping from high up with jump jets were I see a laser tracking a specific component all the way from my drop also when using my jump jets.

Send the videos to support.

You do have video of course, since both main GPU providers have recording in their software, and windows has a native recorder. So just send them in and let support worry about it.

I dunno but I wouldn't be surprized with how old this game is.

If you are seeing it happen. Just try to record it and send the video to support. Its really the main way to catch em in the act and the proper people are notified.

Does aim botting happen? Its been known to. All of which got perma banned for it I believe. Is it everywhere? Nah. Being able to spectate when you are dead in a match kinda lets the community police itself in regard to it. Can it be hard to catch. Sure. The people who do it generally dont last long.

So its been known to, but it is incredibly rare.

Note: Some people do have uncanny aiming in this game. I have seen some lucky as hell shots too.

So really just video it. Submit to support. Let them hash it amongst themselves.

Have you recently crossed over into tier 3? Because skill levels skyrocket there due to now seeing t1 sweats and the aim can seem rather magical at times. Saying that there is absolutely cheating in this game as a casual internet search will show. But its not endemic and typically they do get caught over time.

99.99% of the time this is "I recently started getting matched against people who aren't total spuds," and aimbot is honestly one of the more reasonable hackusations in response to having to fight people who know what they're doing. Just tonight saw someone accusing someone of cheating... because he was spreading damage, and the guy doing the accusing was shaking his lasers like he was having a seizure.

I've played MWO since 2016 and I have seen one player who I knew was cheating beyond reasonable doubt. He was tracking targets perfectly which were below his field of view and repeatedly firing at them from on top of one of the big pillars on Grim Plexus... but he was so stupid he didn't notice that his PPC shots were hitting the edge of the terrain. That's the reality of playing games with very low population, there's generally not much impetus to develop cheats for them.

If you genuinely believe someone was cheating and have a clip, send it in to support. But odds are they were just good at the video game.

the cheats are developed and available, for a nominal subscription fee. oh, and the software has the ability to remote-wipe your system and even permanently fry your ssds. if you want to install that crap on your rig, you do so at your own risk. this is software developed by hackers of questionable moral character for profit.

The discussion of cheat programs on the forums is against the CoC. While this here has been unproblematic so far, let's leave it as it is.
