Hunters of the Fjordlands
Greetings Mechwarriors!
Are you new to MechWarrior Online and trying to get better at the game? How about a returning Mech Vet that’s frustrated between trying to coordinate with the uncoordinated teams or trying to figure out what loadouts can work after all the balance changes? Or even a current player that’s trying to make the next step into the competitive scene? We have players and teams at all levels! We’d love for you to join our community for a round of drops and get to know if we’re a fit for you. Still on the fence? Let's tell you a bit more about Hunters of the Fjordlands [FJRD] starting from the top:
1. Competitive:
· FJORD Finished 8th in Championship Series 23 and 2 other FJRD teams finish within the top 25.
· 2 FJRD Teams Won Their Division in Inner Sphere Coalition Season 6 and 2 others were Runner Ups.
· FJRD Fielded 8 Teams spanning Division B to Division I with over 100 participants.
· Time Zones: While we’re a primary North American unit, we have many global players with two EU time zone teams and 1 Primarily AP team.
2. Faction Play
Regular 12+ Friday evening Faction player groups at 9pm EST. Primarily Inner Sphere centric focus but we are not exclusive Sometimes we have meme or themed drop decks, and sometimes we have sweaty drops, but normally we try to balance competitiveness with casual play.
3.Quick Play/Event Queue
Consistent quick play groups going throughout the day (All time zones) Groups of all levels
4. Community events
Monthly events and tournaments for unit members to gain more practice and win prizes such as MC and Legendary mechs Training Lobbies: Some of our experienced players have classrooms explaining tactics for maps and general gameplay techniques. Interested?
