Maybe this is the story where the Loader King gets its development into the Roughneck?
Speaking of that. I was searching for the lore that was dropped here so long ago. Anyone got a link to it?

Will this and maybe other maps be brought back into MWO? That would actualy be cool if you could use the random output from MW5 to create some maps for MWO.
Hell it would be awesome to have the "random map tech" in MWO. Imagne if every battle would be rather unique. Sure you know at some point the different pieces but with them altered in position each battle could be fresh.

I would remain excited for MW5:Mercs. Not everyone does this, but I dove into the EG7 2023 Q4 and year-end report (link below). If you look at page 12 and the 2nd and 3rd bullet points, they explicitly mention 2 more DLCs before MW5 Clans. The report was published Feb 13 which means Solaris is one of the DLCs and we have one more before the standalone Clans title.

No, the addition from Solaris is the latest to the Mercenaries. According to the roadmap plans, there were 2 DLCs, 1 for the 4rd quarter of 2023 and 2 for the 1st quarter of 2024.

I'm aware Solaris is the latest. I'm just saying according the the Q4/year end report from 10 days ago there is one more DLC after it.

Hey, if there is a new MW after MW5:Clans, can we fairly assume it will be based on MW4? (Fed-Con Civil War).
PGI even has already most of the mech models.

This is unknown. It is known for sure that the license has already been extended since discussions are underway at an early stage of planning for a new PVP MechWarrior game. I dare say that PGI does not repeat itself with other Mechwarrior series and creates their own companies, plots. So I understand the DLC for the Clans has already been planned.

Regardless, curious to see more detailed patch notes, weapon/equipment information, and variant info.

I disagree, here's why -
- The quarterly/monthly boundaries are for financials, and they specifically mention the impact of the 5th DLC (Dragon's Gambit) on page 7
- The bullets I pointed out around 2 more DLCs are typically read as "forward looking statements" and indicate work beyond the 5th DLC. Those types of statements are not bound by the quarter/months of the financials.

Yes, you're right. I read the report again and the information about the Dragon Gambit is already out and financially it is an excellent addition from PGI. In general, last year was good for PGI and higher than expected in terms of profit. We can only be glad that the team is doing well and there is progress in everything. And I am glad that we have chosen the right path to implement linear campaigns with plots, as it was before in games. It's much better than just a sandbox, imho. I'm really looking forward to the Clans and if they are cooler than MW2, then it will be space! And of course we are waiting for another addition besides Solaris.
