Why is the entirely of Stone Rhino Assault Mech line locked behind a mech credit paywall?

The heroes and champions, sure, understandable, that's how most mechs are.

But why the standard variants too?

Let's not stop at Stone Rhino, why lock any standard variants of any mech at all behind mech credits?

Stone Rhino as an Assault Mech doesn't even really seem that good in comparison to most other Assault Mechs one can buy for C-Bills.

And all the other standard variant MC mechs probably compare exactly the same to other C-bill mechs of their tonnage class as well.

Karee just wants to be able to get a Stone Rhino at some point, specifically a good LRM Boat Assault mech, and Stone Rhino SR-3 is the only one worth getting that's 100 tonnage... and again.. it's a standard variant mech, non-hero, non-champion, locked behind mech credits, which feels very unnecessary and not cool.

Please add c-bill purchase options to all standard mech variants, thank you.

The Stone Rhino was only recently added to the game. Since like forever now, Mechpacks were released for real money first, then available for MC and then for CBills, at least for the regular variants. Please refer to the FAQ for the Date of the CBill release.

Hmmm, understood, all though Karee doesn't seem to remember PGI ever releasing a new mech line in that way before, she'll trust your word
(Granted she probably doesn't remember because most of the memories she has of this game came from all the way back in.. *checks profile activity* ..2015-2018, which is a long time ago.)
