1st issue - Disk failure on steam....it will patch some of the game and then fail. I tried completely uninstalling the game here on steam and reinstalling, no good. Same issue

2nd issue - uninstalled game and then downloaded the portal from the website trying to go that route. Now the Install Wizard gets hung and won't install the game.

Not sure where to go from here.

Do you have enough disk space available? You need roughly the size of the game in free space to properly patch

Looks like this is the issue. After uninstalling the game, have 32 GB available....either time to upgrade the laptop or get an external hard drive for him.

Hai, checking my MWO folder, it takes up 26g, then you have to account for the installation file. A quick workaround is to use a thumb drive / USB drive, install it there then copy the installed directory to your main drive. And/or review what installed large programs/games and uninstall them. Also check Windows Clean up section and uninstall previous Windows installations, etc.
