Hello, I have question about new Magshot and AP Gauss and their ammo.
Do these new weapons explode like normal gauss guns and does their ammo explode like normal auto canon or does it work like gauss ammo?
Reason why I am asking is because on mechdb website, ammo boxes for these new guns are showing internal damage and I think I got exploded in the game too.

they explode like gauss, and the ammo is inert ... or at least it should be. right now both explode and I believe that's being corrected in the next patch

If you have a spare slot toss in a case so if it goes boom it won't core you.

Currently bugged and both explode. Next patch only guns explode.

But to repeat, if you have a gauss/magshot in the torso with an inner sphere XL engine, don’t bother with case. It will keep the explosion from spreading to the CT, but you’re dead from losing the side torso.
