I will be fast.
Before April Patch Clan Beam would over heat so fast if you Pulsed the beams over and over huge jumps in heat hence HOLD the button down and stream that beam....

After April Patch That Heat mechanic is GONE and as such makes them VERY Heat efficient if you PULSE the beam tap that fire button as FAST as you can Chain Scroll wheel whatever pulse fire.
You get massive heat reduction from continuous fire and slightly less DPS but way more damage for long sustained face time due to the Heat drop...

Intended or BUG????

Probably a little of both. Thunderbolts are a bit buggy now hitting lights if the missiles take a high arc trajectory.

Have you like tested this in lobby with friend, recorded and done the math or just gut feeling?

Of course ,,,not hard... tested in few maps testing grounds and games and found that all you have to do is HOLD the fire to get the hit box blinking... get that blinking rate down to a nice TAP TAP TAP rhythm its a little faster than large pulse laser... Time the same mech in the testing grounds and see for yourself its not hard and works........ At the same time see where your heat ends up in the heat scale MASSSIVE difference and the time to kill is very negligible only .5 to 1.3 seconds difference...
SOOooo depending on FACETIME vs I can Pulse for a bit on you decide bit more DPS And HEAT reposition to cool or FIRE AWAY doe way more damage over the heat scale then back off....

its fun when you can implement pwm as a macro. also works on jump jets.
