Thanks, I haven't done anything to them yet but need to get glue as the Cicada and Jagermech came broken so will pick up a hobby knife while at it.

Looking forward to getting the boxset as well, and painting those mechs up.

Oh yeah, anything that looks like you can pull it apart...do so, remove whatever glue gun crud they used and re-glue it with real super glue.

I'm awaiting my box also. I've ordered it from UK so I fear that it may come in bad condition after the few states travel ... I just hope that anything that will or may happen to the minis will be repairable.

Well its been a long time since my BT:TT and BT trading cards got lost in a move from Seattle to Bend Oregon and I have missed the TT quite a bit so I just pre ordered a box set at CCG Armory for the next round of catalyst Anniversary pack! Now I am excited and impatient ugh whats a fan boy to do :)

Well I've gone back and I'm re-reading the Warrior Trilogy by Michael Stackpole and I have to say that it was his best work in the battletech universe.

I'm remembering that names like Morgan Kell and Yoringa Kurita actually had a resonance that made the tabletop game a richer and more satisfying experience.

I played my very first BT TT game today, sure it was just me vs me with a Hunchy and Enforcer using quick start rules but it was still great!

played my first game in 1995 in the barracks on Kitzingen Germany... Centurion and Vindicator against Hunchback and Shadowhawk...didn't really know what i was doing but had fun and got hooked ever since..

So my box came today. The miniatures are in near perfect condition, only two will have to "repaired" ... I can't wait until I will be paiting them.

Now I have to convert my friends to the only true tabletop gamer ever! :D

I bought one for my son from Miniature Market:
http://www.miniature...newarrival.html

It's just a little bit cheaper at $38.97 and shipping (UPS Ground) was only $8.12 to Dallas.

They are currently showing 27 still in stock!

Quick question, is this fundamentally different than the original Catalyst box set?

Yah my Atlas and Whitworth came with "battle damage". Easy enough to fix. I was kinda dismayed by the quality of the minis but cleaning them up a bit really helped. The more I look at them the more acceptable they become.

Not sure yet if I'm going to attempt to paint them. It's kind of nice being able to grab a handfull of them and throw them back in the box instead of worrying about the paintjobs.

Might just give them a wash, seal them and be done with it.
