so, ive been playing more than usual lately, and Ive noticed something since the release of the new nova mech.

Im not sure if they are related, however, as a time stamp- its useful, i think.

Lately, The nascar thing has been absurd. I mean, domination rotating out side the circle mindlessly, then backing up only to die to enemy team in superior positioning.

Has anyone else noticed its been particularly bad over the last week or so?

Nascar has always been present in MWO.

I have not noticed anything unusal. People keep nascaring as always.

There has been an uptick in the rotato potato yes. Every new patch draws back in a high percentage of casuals who only know how to nascar. Thats ok though. Just advise your team to counter rotate ~then~ form a firing line in a suitable position and farm them as they trundle in. Doesn't work every time but its at least a 50/50 chance to get them to go along.

There's definitely an uptick.

There were times (months) where i do fine with 48 kph.

But since the april patch i often get left out while running 52.4 kph.

Now, 325LFE~350LFE is a big drop in firepower for a 4 kph topspeed improvement.
Putting skills in topspeed also gimps firepower a lot.

Going 350XL in an assault is doable but free structure slots is a big problem

Some people are running their brand new mobile heavy OmniMech, i. the Black Hawk-KU. Once the novelty wears off, everything will return to normal.

Are you doing anything about it? Using comms, taking command, bringing a group, adjusting playstyle etc`? Or are you just posting a whine on the brown sea expecting people to change their behaviour to suit you retroactively?

Adjusting the playstyle is probably the easiest thing, because in this you do not depend on other players.

He's right, the rotato was very bad for a while. Seems to be evening out now.

I mean really in the end if you are solo dropping in quick play this is the proper attitude. The only way to ensure consistent good outcomes is to lance up with other players of above average skill and direct your team to be meat shields as you farm the reds who expose to farm your own pubbies you sent into the line of fire.

it's the BLackhawk KU it's not the nova Nova is a clan mech

despite being 60 tons instead of 50 i think they just copy pasted the model from the nova odd when they use to try to make things diffrent even if they were based on the same mech Marauder and marauder IIC for example.

though the blackhawk KU could be scaled up I dunno haven't seen them side by side

Same, i stopped using my 54kph Urbie IIc with HAG30. Too much nascar and i can't keep up and get killed in two alpha hits by a blob.
