I think it would be a good idea to add a left and right leg omnipods without jump jets to free up four tons of space, especially for the ballistic and missile omnipods even with their heavy arm quirks to compensate for the extremely vulnerable torsos since it HAS to use an XL engine. The Blackhawk KU would still contain a singular jump jet in the center torso.

At minimum I think it should be tested as an option. This could also open the door for additional omnipods being released without the need of a center torso. This does prevent an 8 piece bonus, but that wouldn't be the primary objective of adding new omnipod pieces for other mechs.

Nope, This is an omnimech this is how it comes you will only get one without jump jets in the legs in a legendary at most if at all and even then it'd have to be a battlemech to prevent people from using those legs or carry some major downside. Just because it's Inner sphere doesn't mean you get preferential treatment and it does have alot of side torso armor in the set of 8 except on the -0

which means you'd have to give the nova this option as well.

It use to be that omnis didn't have fixed jump jets (at least on models that had jump jet pods like the kit fox) but they changed that long ago unless you apply such a change to all omnis it won't happen.

Besides you have 10 more tons than the nova and insane ballstic quirks on one of the models. why do you need more? such an omnipod would make the blackhawk KU unbalnced.
