Question Regarding Campaign And Dlc Content

Hello guys,
this might be a stupid question, but do I have to finish the original campaign before I can start for example the Kestrel Lancers campaign? because this would put you on somekind of timer.

You don't have to, no. You can include any DLC campaign into your base campaign.
