This just started happening to me the other day, but its become a persistent problem. All of a sudden MWO is minimizing on me during almost every single match. Since this started happening I've updated my video drivers. I've updated Windows. And I close every other task I can find. And still it happens. Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?

Playing in Full Screen or Full Windowed mode, and standalone or steam? Sounds like you are playing in Full Screen mode, and a program in the background is stealing focus. Switch to Full Windowed Mode then you might be able to see what is popping up.
