Came back after 4 years. Tried to install the other Betty: z_MLGv2.pak but placing them in the folder doesn't change betty voice anymore. In fact, none of the z_*.pak do.

Has the mod you used been updated? The recent weapons additions changed the sound files so any sound mod that wasn't updated to take that into account doesn't work or is buggy.

It's not affecting the weapons sounds. It's replacing Betty.

Has PGI made also changed to the voice lately?

It's possible the sound may have changed over four years of updates. Folders may have changed? You may have an old mod file, hard to tell.

Some youtubers or streamers playing mwo still have sound mods, so it is possible keep trying.

Afaik the new sounds messed up all sound mods because they changed the directory structure around a bit. But there are plenty of working sound mods along with BB so search around.

this is why i dont mod anymore, you have to constantly update on the game's schedule. best modding is on finished games so you can focus on your own features rather than fixing stuff the now updated game broke.
