I absolutely LOVE my NARC-Raven, its one of my favorite mechs. But whenever i play it i will either get neutral rating in a really good game, or down ranking in most games.
It sucks cuz while i dont really care for pilot rank, it does mean i can never really have it increase as long as i play my favorite mech build. I also feel like, because NARC mechs tank your rating, they arent seen much and many players dont really utilize the value of a NARC on a good target.

I think if NARC-Kills were worth more (and the score was applied for a bit even after the narc runs out) itd make the playstyle viable for ranking up, or at least staying neutral

And with Flamers too, since there is little damage it won't add much to the score, and enemy self-destructs only help you win, but poor score.
