As title says

What mech and why?

Favorite - "Locust - 3V" good all round light mech and close to a none ecm PB

Least - "Riflemen" found it tall and very cumbersome and easily turned into a "stick"

Favorite - Flea is the cutest thing ever / most fun mech to play imo / mech I do best in / matches Eurobeat (Fleaurobeat) the best / has the cutest warhorn
Least - Anything that's cruel enough to destroy a Flea (except another Flea, I will forgive you)

I also do not shoot other Fleas unless I find myself in a dire situation lol

Favorite... sticking with the classic Marauder 3R. Good hitboxes and combination Energy/Ballistic. I never fail to get good match score in one.

Least Favorite... any mech with arm mounted weapons that is uncommonly WIDE... the King Crab being the worst of the bunch because its arms are also low slung, so its very hard to manage in tight spaces and commits or receives lots of friendly fire.

By far my favorite is the Hunchback-4SP - about the most accurate hitboxes and it has small hunch box SRMs + a structure melting ML pack. Very close second is the 5 LPPC crab that I stumbled on not long ago.

Least favorite. Not really sure, least favorite medium is probably the Nova. Just don't like it.

Favourite: 2 ERPPC Shadow Cat, i think. Its not the highest damage but its fun and drives like a dream.

Honorable mention to the Banshee-3M, but they ruined it when they changed the hardpoint mounts. Back in the day with 5 eye level LPLs it was an absolute monster. Even though ill probably never play it again, i doubt any other mech will ever catch up to the 1500 games i have in it.

Least Favourite is harder, there are so many mechs that are just obviously irredeemably bad (like ballistic focused light mechs that cant boat MGs). Ignoring those and choosing something that other people do like, I guess id go for Dire Wolf. it just handles so badly, has crap mounts and is such an easy high priority target.

Edit: Sorry, i forgot. My least favourite, by a very long way, is the sodding Urbanmech. Its literally the archetypal bad mech, its so stupid that they are so good. I will never be seen in one of those stupid little trashcans.

Eh, i need mechs to be capable of outputting decent damage to enjoy them. I also hate SRMs in general, so that doesnt help matters.

Hard to narrow it down to just one of either.

Types- Assault and Heavy

Favorite type-Maurader, Maurader II, IS and Clan.

Least Favorite- Warhammer IIC. They all just seem to get shredded way to easily.

Favs: Fast light and medium ecm mechs. People get confused when there is no red dorito over you.

Non Favs: Everything else. Too slow. Too big. Too clumsy.

Favorites: cptl-c1/k2. Both run a huge variety of builds and are "weak" in the age of power creep but still have plenty of fight in them. I have almost 600,000 xp on them both.

Least favorite: Atlas. Too dam slow and greatly under gunned to clankers. If I'm in one it's a lrm build.

Favorite: maybe just lights overall... but it's Love and hate thing, when everything goes according to plan or close to it, best time of ever in MWO, when playing some knife fight light (those are the most fun and excitement, one mistake and you are goner) and both teams are deathballed mid to long range whole game... super frustrating and cannot do **** except wait and hope your team has the edge.

Least Favorite: Anything with non pulsating blue lazors.

i honestly don't have one favorite mech. i tend to jump from mech to mech with whatever i feel like that day. though i will give a go by weight class

Light--- Urbies, all of them

Medium--- its a toss up between my Dervish-6MR LRM boat and my 3 L-PPC/2 SRM Shadowhawk-2K

Heavy--- Catapults (primarily the C1 and C4), mostly this is nostalgia from my old TT days. though a close second would be the Roughneck (i like all of them). though this is the hardest category to nail down as i like a LOT of the Heavies.

Assaults--- another toss-up here between the Stalker-3FB, and my Corsair-7A


as for least favorite that one is easy as its simply anything Clan. just not a big fan of the look of most of them (there are a few that don't look bad but not many (about the only one i like the look of is the Ebon Jag but i just can't seem to get it to preform for me)). also most light mechs (other than Urbies) but thats mainly because anything moving faster than 100kph gives me a headache for some reason.

if you notice most of my favorites aren't what one would consider "meta" they are just fun mechs with builds that i like.

Faves:

Light: Kit Fox, although I recently picked up a Pirates Bane and have been having a blast with it.
Medium: Triple PPC Shadowhawk
Heavy: My favourite class as a whole. Particularly, I like the Catapult C1, though the Timber Wolf has been fantastic ever since the BH came in as well.
Assault: Mostly hangar queens for me. I like them, but I'm bad with them; the general slow speed and high profile means you need to commit correctly and carefully and, uh, I don't. That said, I really enjoy the Mean Baby. The Stalker 3FB is also a blast.


Least favourite is a harder thing. There's so many things out there and I haven't played most of them. In general I find myself wanting to avoid medium mechs as a whole -- it usually feels like I'd be better off specializing into either a light, for the speedier side of things, or a heavy, if I'm trying to emphasize firepower. If I had to name a specific chassis that I have that I dislike playing, it's probably the Marauder 4L. It's a good mech, I just don't like playing it.

Favorite? Fast mechs. Has to be 100KPH or higher. Splatfox, Spider 5v, Crusader 6T, Urbies. You get the idea.

Least favorite? Anything slow. I hate taking forever to get anywhere. I find that by the time I have gotten into range/sight of anything, the action has shifted to another area. I spend all my time stomping around trying to find something to shoot!

Err-ppc Adder Prime. Like it very much.

Especially now, when snipers and crusaders cancer too strong.

I ll take some rest with this Adder, couse I am in bad mood during fights these days.

My favourite: Assassin-DD running LGR is really fun and can clean up mid to late game.

Least: King Crab, all variants, the low slung arms and huge face, I can twist all I want but they die so fast for a assault.

Were always a Summoner and PPC enthusiast...

But in MWO fav is: KGC! King crab is a pestilence, a curse. Big 'n' wide and slow but hurtz if it catchez ye! + team mates love to pop-up in front of my KGC whenever I start to use ACs... Noone does this when I Atlasin' around just K-crabby getz such luvz...

Least: Any lights. To fast to handle properly by me and a bad move is last move...

Favorite - Thunderbolt 10SE, because it has ALL the bells and whistles and is a great all-arounder.

Least - Anything that's big, slow, and has low-slung weapons - you pick one.

I'm having almost 200 Mechs so I can't pick a single favourite. So my favorites in every class are:

Lights: Commandos & Jenners // Mediums: Blackjacks & Hunchbacks //
Heavies: Orions & Marauders // Assaults: Highlanders & Atlas

I don't really have any least favorite mechs. Some lack hardpoints, some are harder to do well in. I see it as a challenge to make every mech work.
