its December again with that means lots of x-mas themed rewards that i will never use. i know this topic has been brought up before but i am not in the mood to go searching for it and then go to the trouble of resurrection.

what i propose is PGI letting us sell our War Horns, Standing items, and hanging items. i am not asking for C-bills or MC either. what i would like to see is a sort of cosmetic credit. say for every 5 items you sell you get a 1 credit. that credit can then be used to purchase a cosmetic from the same category (so say warhorns. you sell 5 war horns and you get a Credit for one Warhorn of your choosing.). its fine if they exclude certain ones that are special in some way (like ones only given out to those who participated in the tournaments and such). it would let us folks with stacks and stacks of cosmetics we will never use (like me with anything x-mas (well other than the Krampus hanging item, i like that one)) to get more of the ones we like or like me who likes to put certain warhorns on certain mechs (all of my Urbies run the Urbie speaker and all my LRM/Thunderbolt boats use the Laughing jack-o-lantern)

If you do not want some event reward, then simply do not redeem it.

If you want some cockpit item from the Store, then simply buy it.

PGI needs your cash to keep their MWO servers on.

Maybe a trade system, I would never ride any Jade Falcon colors or cockpit items. I would trade Jade for Wolf however and the same with Inner Sphere Items.
