I've been trying to build some of the new loyalty mechs that have just been released as normal mechs, including trying to make builds on omnimech heroes that include those omnipods, and I'm running into an issue with the Ice Ferret.
The IFR-JL has a fixed Masc in the right torso. But if I put that IFR-JL Right Torso into my Rainbow Crow, there's no Masc, and there isn't an ability to add it from equipment. What am I missing? I don't believe that's ever been done on purpose before, right? Normally only CT omnipods are locked. How can I get a Masc unit into that omnipod?

Its fixed to the mech itself iirc, to prevent fun "cheesy" builds

It was a deliberate cauldron balancing decision. No, you are not getting MASC & ECM with heavy lasers on a 172kph mech.
