So, I've been playing MWO for a few years, and enjoy the game. Some games, I am utterly ******! Other games I do.really well. So, I've decided that what I have learned from plaing, I'll post my observations here for what I did to achieve higher match scores.

Lance in formation. This seems to be a big one adding to the score.
Countering ECM with ECM is counter mode, active probe, or uav's adds a good bit the the score.
Destoying components, heat sinks, weapon systems, ammo, or other parts and pieces adds a good chunk the the score.
KMDD, Kills, and solo kills will add a good bit to the score.
Yes, damage is still king, but even high damage without the rest will leave you at average match score.
Objectives, will.give match score, however if your not in the fight your will loose more than you think in regsrds to score. Cap a point, get into the flanks, kills a compnent or 5, and go.cap something else will get you a better match score than just capping.
Overall, high match scores can be achieved through working as a team...
