i picked this mech up during the Summer 2024 Loot Bag event and i have to say it has surprised me. mostly i picked it up because i like the paint job (i am sitting on over 120 mechs so i figured i don't have Kintaro so why not). if was only when i took a closer look did i notice hat it has a +30% Velocity quirk i thought it would be worth a go. turns out that +30% is exactly what one needs to make LRM effective again. its also a mech you almost never see these days for one reason or another (i do remember back in the day the Kintaro was thought of as a **** mech so maybe that is why)

in the end i went with this (though i might remove the AMS for a Beagle Probe).

KTO-GB (1 LRM-10, 4 LRM-5s (6 1/2t ammo), 3 MLs, 1 AMS (1/2t ammo) running an XL 280 with 4 DHS and Endo)

has anyone else picked up this mech recently and if you have what are your builds for the shiny gold Kintaro?
