So I installed the game with Steam for the fist time, and the graphics are blurry, even with high settings. I tried to fix that with nVidia's filters via the GeForce Experience overlay... aaand I get a popup that says MWO isn't a supported game.
So, what do I need to do to fix the issue, and what's up with GeForce Experience? The program detects MWO and lets me launch it, so...
Kinda confused, and my internet is really bad, so researching it is a pain.

When switching to Steam install, what had changed on your system? Go to your C:\Users\OS user name\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\Profiles and rename your Toon's folder (while logged completely out of the game.) Whether Standalone or Steam, if there was a previous installation it will use the previously saved settings.
Also, disable all overlays for the time being. You may be using the Geforce overlay but Steam overlay is enabled by default, as well as Xbox.
And Full Screen or Full Windowed Mode? With it being blurry, it sounds like it is not playing with the monitor's native resolution.

Well, the resolution is correct - the fonts are the "proper" tiny size, and all that - it's just that the game menus all look slightly blurred. It's a brand new install on my laptop, and my desktop is a few hundred miles away, so I can't compare settings. It's not terrible, but the lettering on the UI is slightly hard to see, and I'm used to the sharpening and other effects from the filters I'd been using before...
I don't even let "XBox Gaming Services" or whatever it's called start up. I have a PC.
As an update, I can now use the nVidia filters to sharpen things up. It makes the menus more readable, but they still look a little off. Maybe its just the smaller monitor with the same resolution...
