well I watched and listened to Matt go over the name change and the direction of the game and ya know I was cool with it, then it goes back to the mech pack system instead of legendary packs that are affordable, provides cash flow and supports the game

The release of MW5: Clans is certainly very good news, and I would not like to spoil the general joy of this event, but...
Please note, as soon as you left MWO without a patch and events because of MW5: Clans, its online immediately dropped to the lowest values ​​since March 2020.
Maybe you will take at least some steps to revive MWO?

Not too surprising, given the lack of events. I haven't really been on since early September. Figured the next event was just really, really late. but now we're nearly halfway through Oct. Hopefully post-release they'll start up a Halloween event, it'd be a real shame if they skipped that too.

On the one hand sometimes I am deeply annoyed to read more news on the mwo site about other mechwarrior games (some of which are quite redundant) than about mwo, on the other hand I am surprisingly happy because it means that despite everything mwo currently resists remaining a point of reference.
I wonder if this mwo will really die sooner or later...
