Are we going to get a Halloween loot bag event?

The holiday events have been around for a long time and have always been something I looked forward to playing, particularly Halloween. I do not think one will happen this year because I think they have always started before this date in the past. Maybe next year there will be new Halloween themed warhorns or cockpit items as prizes. Actually, now that I think about it, there are not a lot of holiday themed warhorns so adding some for other holidays would be nice, also; I was very happy to see, and hear, the new ones last year.

Anyway, this late in the month and the copious notes about NW5 Clans on the MWO page lead me to think there will not be a Halloween event this year. Everyone is too busy working on MW5 Clans is my guess. So, I am just watching spooky movies for this holiday and hoping the Great Pumpkin makes a triumphant return next Halloween season. I still hop on every night to check in case I am wrong.

PGI is busy with getting MW5:Clans out of the door.

I guess that either the Halloween event will be moved to November (perhaps under some other title) or we will get the usual November Free 'Mech event. Hopefully, PGI will have enough time to prepare the usual Christmas event.

It would be nice to have SOME sort of event for those of us who don't GAFF about MW5.
After all, there hasn't been one in months.
As long as all the dev time is being given to MW5, I'm not spending money on MWO.

Well, guess I was incorrect. A Halloween event is kicking off in about 90 minutes.

Thank you, PGI team. It is an odd thing but the Halloween event has been a highlight for me for years. It became kind of a tradition for me every fall as part of my celebration of my favorite holiday.

How I see it, you can play the current event for the entire November, then you will have approximately two week rest period, and after that - mid-December or so - Christmas Event should begin.
