So I'm having some issues connecting to a cross platform coop game. My buddy is on XBOX and I'm on a PC running Linux. I have had no issues connecting to him before when he's on PC, but when he is on console, it doesn't work. We've both tried restarting the game and even rebooting the machines as some old reddit threads I found suggested, to no avail. The strangest thing is that a third guy we play with is also on PC and he is able to connect to the XBOX. He's running Windows. I think the OS should not have anything to do with it, right? Why is the other PC able to connect to my buddy's console and I can only connect to PC? Does anyone have any ideas? If this is the same issue, those reddit threads suggest that this bug dates back to the demo and still hasn't been fixed. I suppose that's a lot to expect from PGI.
