Seriously, this is a game in an established universe, maybe do some research. Luthian is an industrial world, it's literally nicknamed Black Luthian because of all the smog and perpetual ash fall. It should look like a mix of Mining Collective, and Solaris, with the darkness of Tera Therma. The only exception being the fifty mile zone directly around the imperial palace which is meticulously maintained park land, not a bunch of mesa.

-Tips hat-
I gave up on this game giving more than a passing consideration to the lore, back in like 2018. Nice to see that there are still folks keeping the faith.

The map is supposed to be the outskirts of imperial palace. From what I've seen, it's lore accurate.

If we’re going to don our lore hats….

Luthien IV(not Luthian like you’ve spelled in this post) actually had an environmental reclamation program set up in the late 3050s to specifically combat the incredible amount of environmental destruction that took place on the planet. Theodore Kurita oversaw the program. You can read up about it on Sarna or in the book Jihad Turning Points: Luthien.

Navids point is also accurate, it is based off of the area in the MW5 Clans campaign that approaches the imperial sectors. Which is describe as pristine and beautiful.

Now that type of information should be part of the "patch" notes.
