So a few things, AMS doesn't do anything for match score anymore so it's useless to do for your points. Second thing is nobody uses missiles anymore since they've been nerfed to the point where they're useless. So please for the love of Blake stop having AMS shoot down challenges in these events. Unless you add a "do so much damage with LRMs" specifically LRMs you're just torturing us who try to complete these events. Just stop doing it. Nobody is using missiles except for maybe SRMs and MRMs but even then the AMS stuff doesn't really come into effect for those missiles. You nerfed the clan Streaks to the point where they're a joke too. So just stop putting AMS challenges in the events. It's not fun and it does nothing for match score so just stop it. Just stop doing AMS in events. It's a huge waste of time and it's frustrating as heck because nobody's using missiles anymore because the cauldron ruined them because they hate getting killed by them so just stop putting the AMS stuff in the events.

I run AMS on some of my Mechs just because I like the extra protection against missiles.

I mounted AMS before it was a part of the Match Score.

I mounted AMS when it was a part of the Match Score.

I mount AMS now, even though it is no longer a part of the Match Score.

Torture? What are you talking about?

As you can see, you can complete that part of the event in just one game.

I beg to differ.

I have noticed that AMS helps me against those missiles, often quite nicely.

For a game in which "nobody's using missiles anymore", I have seen a lot of missiles today.

I also had no big problem with that "400 missiles destroyed" requirement.

I can very much agree with you. I used to love to score farm with AMS and be a pocket umbrella for my allies.

Now I don't need that and it doesn't score. I think it is complete garbage and I hope they add something of value.
