Well, after all this time, and after being told constantly no, we're finally getting one of the best lights IMO: Firemoth.

So with that out of the way, let us all place our best non-Lore Variants.

I'll start this with mine, using the Prime as the catalyst for these. You can refine these once MechDB gets them upon day one release.


Fire Moth S/S2
S: 5 Small Pulse Lasers (RA-2/RT-1/LA-2), Target Comp. Type 1 (RT), Light Active (RT)
S2: 1 Small Pulse Laser (RT), 5 Micro Pulse Lasers (RA), 4 Micro Pulse Lasers (LA), TC Type 1 (RT)

Fire Moth A (My variant. Cause CGL, then FASA, imo screwed up with this variant. So I made my own! Table top wise, it's sweeter than candy!):

SRM 6, Ammo (RA), SRM 6, Ammo (LA), ER Medium Laser (RT), 1/2 armor

Fire Moth E
ATM 3 (RA), 1 Ammo (RA), ATM 3 (LA), 1 Ammo(LA), SRM 2 (RT), 1/2 ton Ammo (RT), L. Act. (RT)

Firemoth N
ER Medium, 2 ER Small, 2 ER Micro (RA), ER Micro (RT), TC Type 1 (RT), 2 ER Medium, ER Small, ER Micro (LA).

Those are just some of the variants I'm going to use. If you guys want, you're welcome to use them

My OP build for MW2 Solaris vs 4 DIrewolf, was 9 small lasers. I think it was 9, I know it was however many I could fit.

Then sweep the leg.

And then ghost heat kicks in, with nerfed C-DHS on top of people being generally better about throwing fire at a light mech to disable it in a PVP Game.

8 CERSL + 11 DHS looks about what's practical assuming the MASC is hardlocked, and you max out the armor.

True. It depends on space. There's very little space, and the only Clan Light that comes close to it, is Mist Lynx. If I had just two more tons to work with, I'd like to try a PPC build.
