Zeus ZEU-10WB XL Gyro, Light Engine, but the real deal is: Twin Heavy PPCs (one in each arm), ER LG. Laser and 4 ER Md. Lasers. Pretty sweet deal for $20.
Turkina would be nice.
Hermes and Hermes II would be a nice Inner Sphere addition. One as light and a Medium Mech pack.
Locust IIc. We truly need the IIC version, along with the Griffin IIc and Shadow Hawk IIc. Hey, the Clans needs a little more if you ask me.
Lastly, the Fire Falcon would be a very nice addition as well. So tell me, what would guys like to see in '25. Post it.

-For PGI to release on a monthly basis the actual stats of what mechs are actually being played so that we can see what the balance overlords are seeing (Tiyos shared mech frequency once that I am aware of, I'd like to see this every month). It would be nice to see just what the powers that be (Cauldron or otherwise) are using to make their balance decisions so that maybe folks who get their undies in a bunch (people like me) about perceived crap mechs getting ignored (Panther 10P for example) while objectively better mechs get buffed (the Bane 2's recent HSL bonus for example) so that maybe we could see if their decisions make sense or not.

You can even put both Heavy PPCs in one arm and use the other arm for shielding.

Just a five tons lighter Daishi with less tonnage for weapons and equipment. Actually, with 8.5 tons less.
Also, with fixed jump jets that you can not remove.

I see no point in adding another two Clan light 'Mechs doing the same job.

This BattleMech is from Technical Readout: 3058.
The author of this picture is jjm1.
1) I would like to see a 'Mech that would have better hitboxes than Thanatos and Orion, would be able to combine energy and ballistic weapons better than Black Knight, and would lack those low-slung arms of Marauder.
2) As you can see, the Dragon Fire would re-use the Marauder's leg assembly, so a half of the work has already been done.
3) The Dragon Fire's Hero 'Mech "Gregory Kishimoto" uses some technology not present in MWO, but I am sure that it would be possible to design some other good loadout.
It would be nice to get another Word of Blake Hero in MechWarrior Online after more than 7 years.
4) Almost forgot: Dragon Fire is from 3050s, so it fits the MechWarrior 5: Clans timeline.
To be exact, Clan Smoke Jaguar units clashed repeatedly with Inner Sphere forces equipped with Dragon Fire BattleMechs.
5) Sounds as win-win scenario to me:
- Dragon Fire would fit nicely in some future MechWarrior 5: Clans expansion pack because it actually fits in the game, while requiring only a half of the necessary work
- Dragon Fire could be offered as a MechWarrior Online Mechpack

I'd like to see more legendaries that sport unique build items, I've already mentioned in a different thread...
Legendary Spider with Reflective Armor. https://www.sarna.ne...eflective_Armor
Or if they have to go lore, a SDR-10K with https://www.sarna.ne...einforced_armor,
Either way, pair it with a Gyro that lets you have 4 slots in the CT, and 4 energy harpoints in the CT.

More lights and mediums in general, both for new mechs and legendaries.

i can get behind this mech.
also the Lynx wouldn't be a bad addition either. its mostly an energy boat but it does have a missile variant (2 SRM launchers if i remember right.) and PGI can even give it a "P" Variant with a ballistic slot easy enough.

Turkina would be inferior 'Mech.
Just a five tons lighter Daishi with less tonnage for weapons and equipment. Actually, with 8.5 tons less.

Hermes would be passable.
Hermes II would be like Cicada. You spend a few games annoying people in the game and then it goes back into storage.
The Dasher preorder is going to begin in January.
I see no point in adding another two Clan light 'Mechs doing the same job.
I dont see much point in poopooing people's pet variants at this point. There's already so many in the game, and PGI/Cauldron dont seem to have any qualms about quirking a mech into viability.
For instance the turkina would absolutely be a fun mech in the game if they gave it some very powerful jump quirks; the kind the direwolf doesn't have. That would be differentiation enough. Another good example would be the Kingfisher; a standard engine locked clan omnimech; without quirks its just bad, but with quirks, it could be the tanky light assault bruiser it was always meant to be.
I myself would rather not see more mechs/variants, but special equipment and armor types and modifications;
the kind of "build around me" equipment like xxl engines, hardened/reactive/reflective armors, chaff pods, blue shields, nova CEWS, angel ECM, harjel and carapace armors, heat pumps and reinforced myomers.
In other words I want to see people dedicating like half of their available tonnage to cool **** that gives you more interesting abilities on the battlefield. It would be an excellent way of adding a ton of build variety while also tamping down alpha numbers and its one of the big blind spots in the game. It has been for a long time.
That and maybe they need to revisit the game modes because they're basically unchanged from beta and the game deserves a little more love than that.

i can understand this. i wouldn't mind some Quirk passes that would make some existing mechs feel more unique. even if its little things like the Cyclops having those sensor quirks. it doesn't have to be weapon related stuff either. just things that might make you choose one of the lesser used mechs for that interesting quirk. things that are on theme with what the mech was built for in Lore. even something silly like taking a mech that in Lore is everywhere (i think the Locust is a good example of such a mech or the Awsome) and used by every great house (or Clan if you are into that) and give it something like a -20% equipment cost (essentially making equipping one cheaper in C-bills.). its not something that would effect old timers like myself but would help new players.

Turkina would have higher hardpoint geometry than the Direwolf and possible better hitboxes depending on it's redesign. Also you are comparing a 95 tonner to a 100 tonner, which albeit is not much of a difference in weight value they serve completely two different roles. There are only two 95 tonners for the clans, the Executioner and the clan Bullshark so the Turkina would fit that 95 ton gap.

If they really wanted to add something interesting they could try doing something unique with the Black Marauder as a hero mech. Maybe give it a quirk like regenerative internal structure that is completely unique to the mech while giving it that spoopy mysterious eldritch feel to it.

Let a 100 ton mech have 5X the VOLUME of a 20 ton mech and all that means.
Density = Mass / Volume. Density remains constant. Even when we use Ferror Fiber and Endo the mass savings we gain we inevitably fill with engines, armor, and weapons. Give every mech the same basic density. Based on the in game models it should be a simple matter to scale sized up or down to ensure models are in scale with a standard density and their individual mass.
Assuming a constant density and a mech with and rough proportions of 1X wide, 2X deep, 4X high then a 20 ton mech would be 58.5% the height of a 100 mech of the same proporations. In truth the complex volume calculations for all mechs should be easily obtained through the modeling in game then scaled appropriately.
