Well, it happened:
Piranha Games will lay off employees after Mechwarrior 5: Clans 'performed below projections' | PC Gamer
I had a hunch but hoped i would turn out wrong...
Maybe the game will at some time turn out on GOG so i can experience it instead of the Streams, it has some really strong points i want to entertain.
I wish everyone affected the very best and thanks for the good times.

Yeah, quite sad indeed, developers make a game, technically they did everything right (I wouldn't say MW5C was bad) and they are let go because the game didn't do well in record time...I Mean ...cmon you folks know Mechwarrior franchise fills a certain niche, it isn't going to sell like helldivers 2.
wondering what it means for MWO though.

probibly no post clans mwo pvp product. im a little meched out, and im sure much of the player base goes through that too. after collecting mechs for 10+ years i just play events out of habbit at this point. i bought mw5 dlc i havent played yet, i havent really played clans yet. opting for the forever winter instead.

we fell real bad for the PGI employees that got laid off
but they continually listen to the wrong people
there was a guy strongly advocating for a story line I wonder what happened to him ?
has anyone even seen any advertisement for Mech Warrior anything
I am on Mech Warrior Twitch all the time and a ton of people that Stream MWO are new
but they don't last long
it is what it is
