Yes, thank you for the clans game. I have been waiting for a good clans game and I love this one. I am now on my 3rd play through and I have to say this is the best work you have done. I do hope you can make some more to add to it as I won't be around in another 30 years to wait.

For all that I've seen folks wishing for more end game/open world content (and to be clear I'd love to see a post-game career mode), there are some ways in which the game play felt a lot more open to me. The fact that you could so easily swap builds around and experiment with lots of different things without having to worry about it taking three and a half months of game time to mount a flamer like it does it Mercs (yes I realize you can bypass this with mods, and many people do) and not having to freak out every time a star-mate lost an arm because that (sometimes irreplaceable) equipment was all gone from my inventory kind of brought me back to my Mechwarrior 2 days. It's probably the most fun I've had with a single player Mechwarrior experience since MW2 if for no other reason than I got to spend more time in the cockpit and less juggling logistics.
(And I was very into the story/characters/general atmosphere as well)

Just stopped by to say that I really I really enjoyed playing Clans.
I was impressed how Chris/PGI crafted an interesting narrative which enables us to participate in the epic saga of the Clan Invasion from the perspective of a small cog in that much bigger wheel. The cinematic direction was excellent, the interplay between key characters held my interest, and there's a ton of in-mission chatter which progresses the story even as you fight the enemy. The lore-consistent moral discussions between the characters added nuance to Clan practices beyond the two-dimensional picture that's usually painted of them.
Other positives: the Mech combat felt realistic, the progression in acquiring new Mechs was super fast - maybe even too fast - and the Research and Pilot stat progression trees added further interest.
Now, I could provide a long list of things that could be better - less linear maps, greater mission variety, reasons to take something other than your biggest Mechs and max tonnage, smarter enemy AI, the ability to deploy alternative formations for your Star, UAVs, more Mech variants at each tonnage, etc.
But at the end of the day, this game held my interest, and I really enjoyed playing it. Kudos PGI for creating it.

I haven't quite completed it yet, but a buddy and I are having a good time playing it. It is very pretty and the UI is much more polished than Mercs , mercs was functional but basic. This one is far better, would be nice to has some sort options on the lists other than Alphabetical. But all in all we are enjoying it, thank you for the effort and the game.
