The scouting was just an accident, swapped to the wrong mode for the first phase. When I went to kill it and put it back to siege, I saw there were a lot of people playing it since scouting has been disabled for like 5+ years. Figured I'd keep it for the day, let people re-experience it. Or, for any players who joined after like 2020, experience it for the first time.
I understand some of the FP fans are unhappy with the addition of scouting. I understand that. However you are not the only players in the game. Scouting saw much higher player traffic than your run of the mill siege day which meant that there were also people intent on playing scouting. I am aware of the dedicated FP fanbase there is in this game but they do not have exclusive monopoly over the FP game mode. Which is why I may even bring scouting back online for another day another time this year just since so many people flocked to it.
Also event queue is not compatible with faction play.

Also idk why u mention that 4v4 mode saw much higher traffic than 12v12 mode, as if it wasn't something obvious. Trying to justify adding this bs mode by "traffic" is the dumbest reason you could ever think of.
Not to mention it was basically middle of the week, of course 4v4 scouting will see "higher traffic" than 12v12 Siege.
Revert this pathetic thing and stop touching CW. This change is just as bad as the change of gen locations done by krazz, which made maps like taiga basically dogshit snipe map instead of fun close-mid range map.
PGI killed CW and the game with CW 3.0 and 4.0, then krazz further kept kicking the dead horse with gen location change, now u try to bring scouting back(that 95% of leftover CW players hate) and also add 24 hour phases as if CW wasn't dead enough.
