Currently I use just a standard mouse.
- Left button : weapon 1
- Right button: weapon 2
- Side button 1: arty strike
- Side button 2: coolant
This setup prevents me from creating more weapon groups.
What mouse/trackball brand model do you suggest for using more weapon groups?
And how do you setup the weapon groups/consumables?
Thank you.

im running a g604 which gives me a six pack of side buttons. in addition to a 5 function scroll wheel with fidget spinner action toggle and real time dpi setting. unfortunately i think this rat is out of production.
that said logitech will sell you an overpriced mouse that is over complicated enough to make it really difficult to work on and then declare it obsolete to sell you the next one. in other words they are an e-waste manufacturer.

I use a Logitech G502 Hero
Has left right click (ofc), two buttons beside the left click, 3 buttons on the side (thumb if right handed), and the scroll wheel can be pressed in for a middle mouse button AND the wheel itself can be pressed left and right.
Groups 1 and 2 left and right click
groups 3 and 4 are two easier accessed thumb buttons
two buttons beside left click are groups 5 and 6
Scroll wheel up is adv zoom, scroll wheel down is target
Scroll wheel clicked left and right are night and heat vision
I have about two more buttons I could keybind but i dont.
Oh and the mouse is cheap. Got mine for like 30-40 bucks. AND it has weights....which dont sound like anything but ..... makes a difference.
(just checked...Amazon has em for like 44 bucks but i have a coupon showing for 29.99 or something. Walmart has em in the 30s.)
I have also had this mouse since 2020. No issues. AND they are still selling it. It IS a solid mouse.

Sounds a great mouse. Thanks so much Moadebe. I will look for it.
