any word on whether the bushwacker will be available? i know according to the old battletech cartoon series that states it was made from clan tech but it also says the same about the awsome. ive always enjoyed early mech 4 mercs having the bushwacker as a front line slugger toss the ac10 for an lbx ac10 keep the lrms and go medium lasers its got decent armor and a low profile though i only really put clan weapons on it getting ready for this game using existing games will be difficult imo so much has gone clan like the omni slots on alot of mechs or the lams where as with the ams we will have you would have to alot ammo for it to fire. mad cat has always been a mid game fave and as you get further into needing assaults clan tech just largely beats out spheroid so this will be interesting random thought dragoons had clan tech being that they were clan wolf pre clan assault might there be teasers with them.

The Awesome isn't base off Clan tech. And the Bushwacker isn't available until 3053, 4 years from now.

The old Battletech cartoon is full of mistakes, there was a even a website once that listed all of them.

The original Bushwacker was not that good of a Mech. Now I feel it is a good Mech, but, it is not produced until 3053.

As Vorus says, neither is a Clan mech but Bushwacker happens post-clan thanks to improvements in engine tech. Not to be snarky but none of this is hard to find on various sites, really and I've seen two or three lists of mechs that exist at this time.

Brand new to the universe, most MW4 players didn't even realize that the Argus and Uziel didn't exist back in 3049.

More concerned with his own mistake... he never mentioned any cannon, did you mean 'canon' as in 'canonical' by any chance? ;-)

If there was ever a need to punch someone in the face and steal their lunch money ... that person would be telling me I'm wrong about the year a mech was introduced into battletech canon.

It has not yet announced the release of the Bushwacker in the game.We have no information about its probable appearance in the MWO world, but there is a good chance to see it in the near future. It is not a clan mech but the only problem would be its date of production began in 3053..so there are still 4 years to its arrival on the scene. For more information about it you can use this link http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Bushwacker .Topic closed.
