Hello PGI. I was wondering why there was not some kind of Valentine's Day event this year, as there has been one in previous years. Was it the result of the recent staff cuts, or was there simply nothing planned? Either way, it was a missed opportunity to create more engagement with the players, and generate revenue for the company.

Out of curiosity, what goes into planning events such as Solaris, grab bag events, event queues, Mech challenges, etc? Is there a cost in development hours, or increased server costs? Or is it as simple as flipping a few switches in the MWO game engine? I would love an explanation, if you would be so kind.

I been wondering the same thing since I been telling some new players to expect an event

seems the cut some of the lesser holiday events. but i suspect a lucky charms or easter event in a month or two (though probibly not both).

what i really want are sales so i can spend the 17k+ mc that i earned in the last 2 lootbag events and from legends.

The events don't need to even be a big giveaway of cash shop stuff like mc and gsp. How about a consumable event where you can earn a few hundred of each?

It seems like it would not take much effort or manpower for PGI to do Solaris, event queue, extra XP weekends, or special events more often, as these things will inevitably draw more players, and more players means more opportunities for PGI to makes sales off of MC, Mech packs, boosters, etc.
