Just an FYI, IF and this is a big if, everyone hit the dang ready button, the round will start!

Ready button doesn't really matter when 2-4 people crash or have lagged out connections to the match. Every single match.

I usually find it's always that "one last guy" that is still trying to connect that holds up the match.

The ready button hasn't worked in ages and once the last player connects it drops the counter to 10 seconds anyways.

The ready button has not been connected to anything for at least the 6 years or so I've been playing.

Tiimer drops to 10s once everyone is connected. It only does the full 80s count if someone has not connected. The ready button in QP is a relic.

I have seen many rounds these last few days that I see not ready, rather than connecting. Chatting, getting coffee, or beer, taking a dmup! Yeah, ready button = round start! :P

Let me guess, you play for fun, but toxic groups hold you back and why can't we buff LRMs?

Don't think I've seen a single match in years where everyone connected before it ran the time way down. Maybe it happens occasionally but its consistent enough and never been addressed that its literally become a game feature.

The ready button was introduced in the early days, once a majority of players hit ready the match would start, but it had its flaws.

The system was reworked so now once every player has connected (With a ping) the timer drops to 8s.

I think some players don't understand there is a loading bug and that you have to run the repair tool once a month or so to fix it. Sometimes just a client reboot will work.

in 10 years of playing i have never seen the players actively start a match early. i have a suspicion that if everyone did hit ready, they would find out that pgi actually never implemented the feature all the way.

My game willl crash if certain mechs are loaded regardless if I initiate them into ram or another player. Some maps will initiate a crash. Doesn't matter if I scan and repair or not.

It's just poor game memory and asset management. A lot of it probably stems from the crap show that is the main menu UI there is so much unnecessary stuff and assets loaded with no methods for unloading any of it because they don't want that menu to take 2 minutes to reload after every match.

@Crazytimes, I do play for fun! But, lurm's, bahhh... They work on some mechs, I'd rather run SRM's if Ican make it work!

It happens all the time in 1v1 and 2v2 EQ. The more players you have in a match, the less likely every player is to hit ready
