Or is that the armor got adjusted down?
I bought all of them, played during event and after. I am back to my Fleas, Locusts and Spiders now.
I never thought they were that OP. And with the armor adjustment, it is even less so. They should have added some leg armor with that adjustment.
Another Legend bought and then nerfed. Oh well. I guess I will learn one day...

40 damage in the back with ECM, then getting away at 200KPH is enough to get an entire kill squad dedicated to you.
Almost 60 damage closer with Heavy Smalls, without ECM, is much spicier.
As it turns out, new shiny syndrome wears off and things normalize back to "Big robot power fantasy".

But of course, elitists prefer mechs with animation bugs.
Tell me, how to kill arctic cheetah with erPPC, who is jumping little before my assault, 50% no hits reg at all.

Iirc the armor bug only affected rear torsos. Which obviously helped but wasnt like the mech was unkillable.
I think people played them so much they just want to play something else for change. Its still a good mech.

I'm sensing a pattern.
It's almost like whatever the latest thing an assault pilot fights, is the problem.
And it changes entirely based on short term memory.
It's not because their weapon choice has spread damage, nor is it because they're probably firing 1 or 2 at a time, doing 10 damage to a location, probably to the front armor when they hit.
And they definitely did not miss. They never miss, at all.
It's because the target is somehow playing unfairly and it's their fault.

I'm convinced it would have been complained about being both a new flavor AND as something that doesn't fit Big Stompy philosophy.

2. There was a leaderboard event, the first in years, with significant rewards
3. The best way to kill a FMT has been and still is to leg it; to link it to a "nerf" is a leap.

I'm sure I'll play a few matches here and there, once the mood hits.
I've got ~500 mechs, I like to give them all love.

Hit reg bugs are a known issue. It's not new.
It is likely because the Fire Moth is riding the line of how much the game can handle.
I could take out my Locust 1V (the one that had a ridiculous energy/PPC cooldown) and hit people with PPC shots so fast most of them do not register damage. Has nothing to do with assault pilots "complaints".
From my experience in comp play, poor hit reg is the reason why lights survive hits they have no business surviving.
