So not so long time ago I bought Urbanmech, screwed around with it in mechlab and did that: AM::20D0|4d|HP|PGp?0|i^q?0|i^rD0|i^sD0|[@|i^tG0|PGuG0|PGvB0|GPw@08080
But - I'm not sure whether it's a ****** build, or ****** me, but it doesn't seem to help me be helpful in anything.
P.S English is not my native language, so there might be typos or stuff.
P.S.S I'm a new player with around 250 hours.

Hello SomeGuy08,
The GrimMech's website has good builds for that Urbie of yours.

First, few general remarks about your build that could help you with other mechs as well:
- the armor allocation is pretty bad. First, you have too much back armor, you want your enemy in front of you and your armor between you and them - as for backstabs, work on your situational awareness. 5 points of armor is plenty enough to begin with (you'll lower it further in the future). Second, on light mechs legs are a major weakness and thus a target, always max out the leg armor. Third, max the armor on all vital locations, except maybe the head (it's rarely hit on an Urbi)
- the DHS allocation is kind of weird - I mean the one on the left arm. Ideally, you want that arm destroyed before anything else, and not lose any component. Also, an arm without any component could allow you to shave some armor on that part to add on more vital locations.
=> here is a optimized build.
I shaved left arm armor, maxed the armor everywhere else except few points on the head, removed the jumpjets from the legs to place them in the torso (then if one leg is destroyed you still can jump at full capacity)...
Still, I personally don't like this build (I don't like MRMs mostly...) and since it won't drastically change how it plays you probably won't either.
Actually, I don't like this Urbanmech variant because of those missile hardpoints. Yet, we'll try to use them because, well, if we don't we'd better use another variant.
You can pick one of the Grimmechs builds, with SRMs.
Or I give you 2 other builds, based on classic PPCs loadouts, but with a rocket backup (I like rockets, they're fun). First double snubs, or triple light PPCs (That's how I built mine).
Hope that help.
