It's relatively easy to go up in tier. But, damned is it a PAIN in the *** to go back down. How to do so, buy like 20 mechs, and skill them from 0. Then you have a chance to go back down.... :D Why to go down, IMO, to enjoy the game once more.

Watch tier 5 streamers. Emulate their gameplay. Enjoy dropping like a rock!

Bragging about tanking tier to try and seal club because you're scared of people that can aim a bit is not something to be proud of.

Have you considered enhancing the game experience of your team mates by just not playing even more potato deliberately?

Why would I do that?

To have team mates who struggle with WASD keys, and enemies who also struggle with WASD keys AND do not return fire when fired upon? *

Deploying in the Training Grounds gives me a similar experience without requiring me to drop five Tiers down.

I am okay with the Tier that I am in.

* Of course, not all of them struggle with WASD. Some of them are using the steering wheel. Posted Image

though i will agree that the game is much more fun in the T3 area intentionally trying to drop your tier just so you can club a few seals before heading back up is pretty ******.

hell i would love it if i was back in T3 but even my rather average skills would mean it would be dishonest in the extreme.

just ignore the tier system and try to have fun.

If dropping back from higher tier to lower ones intentionally is such huss, then why not lock tiers? You can move forth but not back? If there is a legal option to fall back and someone wants it by whatever reason, then...

Locked tiers would not a hard task to implement if PGI may wants. I guess they themselves are fine with people fall back, how did you said? Seal-clubbing...

If you really need that satisfaction of clubbing away, start a new alt account like the rest of smurfs.

If the long search times for matches aren't enough to drive away any random new or returning players, vets going out of their way to smurf sure will.
