the Beagle active probe is a sensor suite designed to cut through the electronic noise of the battlefield to indentify targets even under ECm and Stealth systems. Even including a computer that let's a pilot re fight a battle virtually.

I propose an addon to the probe that gives it even more viability seismic sensors

Ontop of all the other benifits the Beale active probe offers a full 200 meter ranged siesmic sensor (modified further by skill tree quirks)

Both the clan and Is probe add a full 200 meter seismic sensor (again with additional range added via the skill tree)

Meanwhile the clan light active probe only adds 100 meter seismic sensor (with additional range added via the skill tree)

I think your ranges are too generous and the probes should add about half of what your suggesting still modified by perks. Having a seismic go to 400m is kind of insane and boost out to 600m on some mechs due to quirks is extremely overpowered. At least in faction play. In quick play not so much, but still a bit ridiculous.

fair, the problem is that the clan light probe needs to be less than the clan active probe and 25 meters seismic is kinda short...

D'oh Math.exe has failed...

100 for normal probe and maybe 75 for light? sound more fair?

on another note what mechs come with seismic built in?

People stil play faction play?

you know you have to stand completely still for seismic to work? you can't turn i think you can't even look around like with the default which is the Ctrl key....
