Has anyone else noticed a massive drop in framerate?

Came back to the game after not playing for a few months and noticed that the game framerate is significantly worse. I'm getting approx. 50 fps in the menu (originally >100 fps) and approx. 30-40fps in game (originally 50-60fps).

I already did all of the quick checks of my computer to verify it's not the problem, but I wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing something similar right now before I take a deeper dive into my own hardware.

As of right now it's un-playable due to horrible framerate making aiming very difficult.

Any help is appreciated.

try flushing your shader cache, driver updates can sometimes break things. recompiling shaders helps.

Play around with settings, sometimes the game and/or pc does this. Reinstall from scratch. Try windowed vs full screen.

Ingame settings do almost nothing on modern systems. The game is poorly optimized.

Your best bet is to use AMD Adrenaline oder the NVIDIA counterpart to boost FPS. Use Upscaling, Frame Generation etc.

I notice immediately when AMD Adrenaline crashes, which it sometimes unfortunately does, halves my FPS.

the two settings in the options with the best impact are particles and env. turn em all the way down and you wont miss them.

but really flush those shaders, especially if you havent played in a few months as automatic driver updates can break things. especially if you upgraded gpu recently.
