Back to 1 minute or whatever it was.
Otherwise, "Domination" is great! I also wonder if some players feel that recent increases to the dimeter of the circle are an overkill (on certain maps). Feel free to chime in on that, as well...

Not sure if this was covered already. "Lates Patch Notes" are an abandoned thread...
P.S. Good Job the small but mighty MWO team. Thank you!

Domination would be a lot better if it worked like this:
5 min timer. Each mech in the circle reduces the circle timer by weight (aka 100 tonner reduces the time twice as fast, 20 tonner, half as fast. 50 tonner is 1-1). Calculate time reductions for both teams then only remove the difference between the two from the timer. (So if you both have 1 100 ton mech in the circle, neither timer moves)
Destroying the enemy alpha/beta effectively increases hpw fast your mechs capture by 25% each.
Would mean 1 light mech can't hold the circle from the whole enemy team and means actually getting your assaults into the circle instead of hiding at the back is really important.
Havng said that, sure people will hate this cos it doesn't involve holding down w and charging headfirst into the enemy team

Sounds absolutely awful.
I mean, instead of one mech per team being forced in a bad positioning you get the whole 24 packed in a small place... gg.
Anyway, OP will be pleased, timer will be returned to 1 minute next patch.

Clearly someone either didn't read or didn't understand the tactical implications.
Stick all 12 in the circle and enemy takes out your alpha/beta and their 6 in the circle are still stopping you capping + you are flanked.
Also very few maps have no-where inside the circle that is a good position.
