Are the devs aware the Heat Bug manifested back into existence?
Are they working on patching it back out of existence?
If so, hopefully it's a high priority bug fix.
Because wow, the Heat Bug is irritating, makes mechs that otherwise have plenty of heat management to where they never need to use override and never overheat into overheating like crazy and dealing with a heat management suffering.

That's believable, considering menu navigation still sucks, has to load for every time anyone clicks anything, and changing anything about a mech loadout causes the game to have a micro stroke, loading on login is very not smooth + still no setting for turning off the auto open news page on login if nothing new/fresh is present, with the only thing changing seemingly being how badly the game runs on higher amount of computer resources now vs how semi-decently it ran on less computer resources back then.

Well, I experienced the heat bug in one game a few weeks ago.
That is not so bad.

Menu stutter and delay in the mechlab is caused by it being out of sync with the fps. This can be fixed via this put in a config file.
;----- Smooths Mouse Actions In Mechlab -----
gfx_inputevents_mouse_move_threshold=0.0166
sys_flash_curve_tess_error = 2
sys_flash_newstencilclear = 0

pgi really needs to revise their default settings. so many workarounds exist for a lot of common bugs and performance issues, and most players dont mess with their settings at all. this should be really low hanging fruit npe since its mostly just config files.

I am still impressed by the Ready button. It does nothing. Like the cake, it too is a lie.
