Hello,
I signed up for the beta back when it started, and I still have not gotten in. How long did some of you guys wait to get in to the beta, and why do you think that I have to wait for so long?
I have a fairly weak computer, and I will not upgrade for another year or so. I have not played a Mechwarrior game in the past, but I have nearly 10 hours a week that I can devote to testing (Secondary school is off for now).
Thanks!

Average wait for the Beta

Honestly you and I will probably not receive beta, they will most likely enter their next phase with mostly founders. Then if anything they will maybe have a stress test where you get to hope on and try it. That will probably be in 2 months (pure guess), but it's suppose to be out before summers over so you know it's going to be the tail end of that.

Those in the beta can't tell you because it breaks the NDA, and would get them booted from the beta. Also, I know that my American school system uses a similar progression, but different terms, but doesn't secondary school roughly equate to American High School (grades 9-12)? If so, are you even legaly able to agree to the NDA contract (which requires you to be 18+)?
And yeah, beta invites according to devs are totally random, so if they don't pull your name out of the hat, you don't get in. And there are something like 212,000registared users on these boards, and all of them not in the beta, are in the hat with you.

Yep when you signed on has little to nothing to do with it, and signups began late last year so joining in June 2012 is not neccessarily a long wait at all, as also mentioned are you old enough to agree to an NDA, does your computer make you worth adding to a beta, do you live in an area where they would like to test the connection to there servers.
All of that comes into, and good luck with the beta invites all, may christmas come early

Yes, I am old enough. Secondary in Wales can equate to 18 years of age. And my specs are low-end compared to many (which, if I read correctly, is semi-important because they are looking for a wide range of players).
